About Us
Welcome to the MS and Oxygen Therapy Centre Stirling. We are an entirely volunteer run charity dedicated to providing oxygen therapy for individuals living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and other chronic conditions. Our centre offers a warm and welcoming environment, and we aim to enhance the quality of life for our members.
Opening Hours
The centre opens about 30 minutes before the start of each oxygen session. Sessions last around 90 minutes from start to finish - please see below.

Oxygen Therapy
We have a 10 place barochamber that pressurises to 2 ATA (twice atmospheric pressure) or 1.75 ATA. Clients wear a mask inside the chamber so that they can safely breath in 100% pure oxygen. At 2 ATA this is the equivalent to breathing 10 times the amounth of oxygen that we breath at sea level which means that body tissues and organs receive more oxygen then they would normally be able to. Our sessions run for 60 minutes at pressure. This is enough time to for the extra oxygen to stimulate healing and repair which many conditions benefit from. Conditions that can benefit from oxygen therapy include: multiple sclerosis, stroke, Parkinson's, dementia, diabetes, cancer, heart disease, fibromyalgia and, increasingly, long COVID.
Session Start Times
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of your session. If it is your first time then please arrive 30 minutes before so that the volunteer can introduce you to the centre and fit a mask. All sessions are delivered at 2 ATA except Tuesday and Wednesday evenings as well as any session with a first time client. These are delivered at 1.75 ATA.
- Monday - 5pm and 7pm
- Tuesday - 4:30pm and 6:30pm (1.75 ATA)
- Wednesday - 11am, 1pm and 6:30pm (1.75 ATA)
- Thursday - 1pm and 6:30pm
- Friday - 10:15am and 12:30pm
- Saturday - 10:30am
- Sunday - 11:30am and 4pm
Special Sessions
From time to time we are able to offer special, one off sessions. Over the next three months (from today) the following sessions will be available:
